MISCELLENOUS

No offside

Slide tackles are prohibited regardless of contact

6 yard wall distance

Jersey numbers are not required

Shinguards & high socks are required

Jewelry is prohibited

 

GAME DURATION

40 minute games

2 x 20 minute halves

3 minute halftime

 

INDIRECT FREE KICKS

All free kicks, goal kicks, corner kicks and kicks are indirect with the exception of kick offs and penalty kicks.

 

SUBSTITUTIONS

Substitutions are on the fly as long as it does not directly interfere with play.

Unsporting substitutions will restart as an indirect free kick.
Players are permitted to substitute back on to the field after being substituted with no limits.

 

KICKS IN

The throw in is replaced by an indirect free kick on the sideline. 

 

GOAL KICKS

Ball must leave penalty for ball to be in play

No punting

No throwing

No restriction on distance

Indirect

 

GOALKEEPERS

May receive a pass from teammates with hands.

Long balls from within penalty area such as chips, drop kicks, punts & throws in open play must touch another player or the ground before crossing the halfway line.

The restart is an indirect free kick from the halfway line.

 

 

POINT SYSTEM

1 point for a win

0 points for a loss

Standings tiebreaker #1 - head to head

Standings tiebreaker #2 - goals difference

Standings tiebreaker #3 - penalty kicks triple series

 

PENALTY KICKS

No games end in a draw

Round 1 - group games - only one player may shoot

Round 2 - playoff games - only three players may shoot

Round 1 game tiebreaker - penalty kicks single series

Round 2 game tiebreaker - penalty kicks triple series

 

SPECTATOR BEHAVIOR

Only the head coach of the team and the team manager may represent their team to the referee and tournament director/committee. 

Spectators who verbally address a referee or event staff at any time in the tournament are subject to removal or suspension from the tournament.

The head coach and team manager of each team are responsible to making sure spectators do not involve themselves in any tournament games or matters.

 

REFUNDS

There are no refunds for teams who withdraw from the tournament after the schedule has been published. Teams who withdraw from the tournament before the schedule has been published will be charged $50 withdrawal fee. There are no refunds if games durations are adjusted or if games are rescheduled for weather and safety reasons. Teams are entitled to a 80% refund if the tournament is canceled by the tournament director/committee due to weather or safety conditions prior to the start of the event. After the start of the first tournament game no refunds are given. 

 

TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR

Tournament director/committee has the final say on all matters.
